Racetrack

I got a racetrack up in here -
a thousand fast cars in slow motion,
multicoloured, printed in grayscale.
With three laps to go
and one blurred finish line,
they go faster
and faster
and faster
and faster
and faster.
Stop.
Just stop.

But
stopping means
crashing and burning
and waiting.
Until the silence becomes the noise,
and the noise becomes you,
and you become the driver in one of those cars,
and you're trying really hard to go slower
and slower
and slower
and slower
and slower.
Stop.
Just stop.

You see, I got a racetrack up in here.
One problem: it never stops.
